Everything is Eventually Rosy

Life is feeling a little crazy right now. It is time to think positive and view the short term with a rosy tinted glasses!

Rosy Red is this weeks photo theme.

Just last week, we set out in the big rig, Maximus (@Maximus.4×4.Camper) for the first time in a year.

For 5 years now, we’ve created an annual trip around a truck camper rally in Arizona. We learn a thing or two. Technically, or I learn while Steve teaches a technical session or two. We meet new and old acquaintances. We incorporate a little family time along our driving route. All good ingredients for a simple, fun, and inspiring break.

It’s a great time of year to leave the rain, snow, and mud behind. Who wouldn’t want to hang out under these rosy red skies?

After spending a year living in Maximus, a little TLC was needed before pulling it out onto the highway. There were numerous cleaning and repairs.

We did encounter a handful of problems. The truck works better being used than sitting idle! The problems ranged from the battery not starting to a broken heater blower fan.

We headed out nearly a week ago. After spending a few days in the Phoenix area, we arrived in Quartzsite, AZ.

After all this time parked indoors and our hiccups with the rig, we are enjoying a colorful desert sunset.
