What better photo theme to show a peek of our time in Maui then Earth day. I’m publishing this late! I thought I’d make time to document my trip while on the trip. Guess that was too lofty of a goal.

Blue, green, black, white all come together at the beach end of Haleakala National Park.
On the opposite end, the top of Haleakala sports the usually red cinder volcanic rock surrounded by a mixture of white clouds and blue sky.

Since this was not our first park visit, we didn’t spend an abundant amount of time at the chilly top. On our first Maui trip, the hike down was quite an experience trying to battle the wind. The landscape is so unique and memorable.
In between the volcano top and bottom are various gardens, rain forest, water falls, beaches to visit.

Thanks for stopping by and come back to check out my upcoming Tahiti photos!
