August has arrived! We’ve had a moderate summer for our area. Recently we experienced temperatures in the low to mid 80s with and without cloud cover. Typically, we are in the 100s Fahrenheit my tomatoes are loving the heat reprieve as much as we are.

Coupled with our long evenings, this temperate August weather is simply peachy. Hence the color of the month photo theme. So what photos do I have to fit our peach color theme? Lets take look…

Flowers

A Lavendar farm on Maui showcases many tropical flowering shrubs throughout its large gardens. The lavendar itself wasn’t blooming during our visit but we enjoyed walking through the garden and letting our senses soak it all in.

A Tree?

Not a peach tree but an intricate, wooden puzzle tree.

For many extended vacations, I’ll pack a puzzle. Puzzles make for great quiet conversation done together or even quieter contemplation doing alone. Having a table top activity to do on vacation is great for problem solving, teamwork, conversation starters and more.

These wooden puzzles are another level of uniqueness. The shapes are very intricate and a subset of the pieces are animal shapes. Look at the left image, on the bottom left of the tree trunk, you see the shape of a cat. If you’re interested in finding these puzzle, I located some by Jigfoxy on amazon.com.

Sunrises

Traveling brings out the need to capture both beginning and end to our days. I love to bring back sunrise and sunset images as part of my experiences. Here’s our morning sunrise on Bora Bora. The sky was just lighting up as if it’s getting ready to bellow Good Morning!

Peachy Sunrise

That’s all the peachy photos I have worthy of your viewing. I hope you enjoyed the visuals. And if you see a favorite, drop me a comment. Til next time. Cheryl
