This is the first repeat visit we’ve done since starting to Roadtripping in the truckcamper.

This BLM area is along a road heading up to Fence Canyon. There are several sites on the way up to the top but after the 1st two (close to HWY 62) it gets rocky and steep. Last year we ventured up and picked a site near the top. This year, we continued on past the gas processing site and landed up in a nice hilltop location. Very little traffic here but can be windy.

This is a steep and rocky road. There are 2 sites closer to the road before it gets into very rocky mode for a camper or trailer. After that it’s slow going vans, cars and us truck campers! As you go up there’s about 4 more good size pullouts with great views. Thanks to a recent Campendium review, I knew for certain there were sites beyond the first gas processing equipment so we headed all the way up and over.

With the close proximity to the caverns it’s a great stop. We stayed 2 nights here this trip.
