Dessert or Desert? Which do you prefer? Perhaps I should ask prefer to see pictures of? Mouthwatering delectable desserts or desert mountains, canyons, sunsets and plants?

Nevada Desert Sunset

This week I get to show off a few favorite deserts. I also manage to not only have a dessert picture but a new cheesecake made in the camper! Not just a cheesecake but a brownie cheesecake. Scroll to the end for its debut.

Deserts

“…an area of land that receives no more than 25cm (10”) of rainfall per year. The amount of evaporation usually greatly exceeds the amount of rainfall.

Seeking Shade Anza Borrego in California

Dry, brown, sandy describe many desert landscapes. However brown it may appear from afar, as you inspect closely, there’s also colorful displays from desert plants

Tall Mountain Peaks & Wildflowers

Desert Sky

Always incredible sunsets, storms and sunsets.

Dessert

Who doesn’t enjoy a dessert now and again. We both will devour ice cream; I especially enjoy the cold treat in the summer heat. In general, I don’t like the amount of sugar i store bought goodies and will try to make something from scratch using Monk Fruit as a sugar replacement. This is a brownie topped cheesecake that I made while on the road. I enjoy making road trip cheesecakes using the Instant Pot and for some reason I haven’t made one yet until a couple of days ago. Just in time for our photo challenge.

There’s no cute photo-worthy china to use for my food shot so paper bowl it is.
