The weekly #Sunday Stills photo theme is Apricot; not the fruit but a color. Whew, because who wants to see random grocery store apricot photos? Around here, that’s the only place I’d find them. I’d probably eat them before photographing them. It’s a near perfect summer fruit. Small, flavorful and tidy (no peeling and not to juicy/messy).
Finding Orange & Gold Evenings
We recently came home from a whirl wind 2500 mile trip. While there’ll be future blog posts and many more photos forthcoming, I was excited to find a couple apricot photos to share this week!

From My Archives
Looking through my archives has me longing even more for fall to make an appearance. Shade of orange with gold really do bring the beginning of fall to mind. If only Mother Nature would listen and cool us off a little, it might start feeling fall like! Maybe I should cook a pumpkin something?

Wonderful apricot-colored shots, Cheryl! I have an interesting view out my east window where the sun and sky are apricot as the rain falls. I didn’t realize you had traveled 2500 miles on your road trip–wow! I love that shot of the wind turbines–gorgeous! Great to see your post today and I look forward to reading more about your trip!

Thanks Terri! It was a lot of miles and although we had time to goof off, it felt non stop! Fortunately most of our trip fails were done by the time you saw us. Kept the rest of the trip mostly problem free. And we enjoyed the cool coastal temps. I plan to keep my regular cadence of posts until maybe mid Oct when I’m traveling out to visit my parents.
