What’s bright, mellow, and sweet? The color Yellow is all of those and more. Here’s a sampling of recent photos showing off a few fun yellows.

Here to Brighten our Days

My morning walk has migrated to Idaho in recent weeks. We’re currently living in the camper on our build lot and construction has started. We can say we now live on a small country road.

The road follows our creek for a bit where there’s not only ducks splashing about and wonderful, daily smells for Cooper to discover but now these bright flowers are a blooming. Makes me smile when I pass on by.

Good Morning Sunshine

Yesterday Steve and I along with Steve’s mom and sister took a drive up the famous Beartooth Pass in Montana. At a dizzying 10.947’ elevation and tucked in between big boulders, these wildflowers stood bright and tall. Such an amazing view.

More “weeds”? Maybe if it was in your rose garden, but these wild flowers fill the hillsides along on of my favorite hiking areas in Orange County, CA.

Mellow Yellow

From our favorite new camping area find last summer, the setting sun just glows.

Sweet Yellow Corn

Summer and corn just go together just like Steve and I! We go together yet we definitely are different. Sometimes, in fact many times, we think alike. Other times we are like these ears of corn. One of us is focused and heading down a straight path and the other is all over the place, wandering (or meandering) through various plans and thoughts. In the end, we come together. We also enjoyed our first summer corn of the year.

Sweet Relationships

Hope this small burst of yellow from my summer corn to my yellow flowers found at nearly 11,000 feet brightens your day this week. Stay tuned for next week’s Celebrations themed photos. What do we have to celebrate?
