We are at the beginning of the “crazy, hardly ever home portion of 2025.” This actually began a couple weeks ago. Once February came along we freshened up the rig and hit the road to Arizona. My Eventually Rosy post shared our desert sunset and more. In addition to the desert sunsets, we enjoyed a full moon with new and old friends along with fresh conversations.

After 3 windy and cold days, Steve hosted his Lithium Battery discussion under slightly warmer and less windy conditions. We both finally shed our winter wear and got comfy in our outdoor chairs. That was definitely refreshing as we got to spend more time hanging outside enjoying the weather.

When the rally ended, we headed north. To keep pace with decent driving weather, we slowed down on our return drive. A slower pace allowed us time to relax and rest. Being rested and fresh for drive day was certainly a nice change. On day 3, our last drive day, fresh frost greeted us as we drove our final leg northward.

As the sun rose, higher, the snow capped mountains seemed light up. I enjoyed a few shots of fresh snow lit mountains through northern Nevada.

We returned home with enough time for laundry, receiving mail and packing up for a trip to Austin. Our flight day was one of the smoothest I’ve had in quite some time. From the easy drive to the airport, through TSA, and punctual arrivals and departures, it was very uneventful. Being uneventful was refreshing!

Add in the wonderful views I had from my window seat made the travel day even more refreshing. It was very fresh and fluffy looking as we flew between Boise, ID to Denver, CO.

I didn’t have a new window seat for our second leg to Austin, TX. I bet those views would’ve been pretty as well. We’ll hang out in Texas for another week then we’ll bounce back to Idaho and pack for yet another journey. More on that later.

Thanks for stopping by.
