March had us turning the corner into spring. Depending on where you’re located I’m sure it looks quite different. With us having feet in both garden zone 9 and garden zone 6b the past two years, I can confirm, it’s almost summer in the Southern California zone but it’s not quite spring budding in the Southern Idaho zone.
In California, our fig tree is really starting to fill out now and I even found 1 small fig.

In Idaho, our spring will eventually show up as our fruit trees start budding followed by showing off their blossoms. We’re not quite there yet. From last years pictures, you can see what I have to look forward to.

I am looking forward our Idaho return. It’d be nice to check in on the tree budding status. Are the buds emerging yet? Because the next phase is even prettier.

I have too many deadlines to note; so I’m keeping this week’s (and most likely next week’s) post short. Short and sweet and very pink are my spring thoughts for the week. See you soon for a walk in the park; our next #Sunday Stills theme.

I always enjoy your posts and pictures, Cheryl! Even if they are short and sweet like this one. It will be interesting to see if you have tree buds in Idaho yet. Have a great week, my friend!
