Amethyst (purple) is our photo challenge color for this week! Today discover my royal purple plants! Purple the color most associated with royalty or aristocracy. Creation of purple dye could only be afforded by those of means. Today, that’s not the case. Nature evidently didn’t get the memo. Below is a broad selection of natural purple that I just stumble into when out and about, including at home.

A fun purple tree! Nothing natural about it other than a fun atmosphere to enjoy the outdoor patio while on a Hawaiian Island vacation.

Nature is definitely an aristocrat but she loves to share, right, Cheryl? I love your purples and discovering them on trails and hikes is always a fun surprise! That purple tree in Hawaii sure looks inviting right about now. You must be like me and take pics of everything! Well done!
