We took a break from working on the property to head into Twin Falls, ID and kayak on the Snake River.

The 3rd time on this section of the river is now the most exciting! Fall is an extremely nice time of year to head here. It was a beautiful day. No summer crowds on the water paired with great weather allow us to fully enjoy the scenery. No outrunning a thunderstorm this time! So, we just take it all in. The water is the lowest we’ve seen and we were able to walk around Pillar Falls. In the past we’ve seen base jumpers on the Perrine Memorial Bridge, but this is the first time we got front row seats as they launched! It was just WoW!
What’s Next?
We’ll head north in a day or so with fingers crossed for continued good weather. We make our way up into the Sawtooth mountains and are planning to camp in a few different areas between here and Stanley, ID. Looking forward to both camping and getting a few new camp reviews out on the blog.
