When’s the last time you walked on clouds?

If I ever picture what those clouds look like, it would be this photo below.

Our Photography Color of the Month Challenge, is finding pastels or white images. Something soft and light. Sounds like a cloud to me. The color choice also brings to mind the budding spring season. Along with spring comes spring cleaning. This past week I started progressing on digital spring cleaning. Between switching computers last year and phones this year plus my goal of optimizing my cloud photo storage, it was time to tackle relocating several gigabytes of storage.

What’s that got to do with fluffy and soft color photos? As I headed down memory lane, I rediscovered our beautiful trip into the Canadian National Parks. Although our trip was not in the spring, my photo of not only white fluffy clouds but even the milky white of glacier water fed river seems to fit the bill.

Visiting Jasper National Park was special. Although the weather was growing somber, the views of mountains and glaciers took our breath away. Stopping at one of the many overlook viewpoints we were mesmerized with the never ending river running milky white as clouds were moving in to hug the mountains.

The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn’t it be? – it is the same the angels breath.

Locating My Pastels!

I have shared my favorite tulip photos a few times already. We haven’t been out and about in several weeks to capture new photos, so I was relieved to find a fun image to share.

Where else can you find pastel and white together? Evidently, a fancy pink sweater dressed penguin standing in fake snow as part of a holiday display.
