We had a wonderful stay near Bryce Canyon. Both with this camping area and hiking in the Red Rock area.

Tom’s Best Spring Road is a well marked forest service road with many opportunities to boondock.

Most sites have trees to shade the rig, the outdoor “patio hangout space” or both. Established fire pits mark the sites.
We were here in June 2021 during the time when camping is at an all time high in the USA. Yet we found the 2nd site from the main road available which we used to park the camper, have lunch, then do recon.
The recon payed out with a view and a dead end of the road spot. No dusty drive bys dirtying up Maximus. He needs no help in the dirt department and has proven himself a very capable coater of dust everywhere.

Summary
- GPS: 37.72905, -112.24128
- Easy to locate: Yes
- Public Land: Yes USFS
- Maximum Stay: Yes, 16 Days
- Cell: 1-2 bars TMobile LTE
- Crowded: not at all. Even if full it would not feel crowded
- Clean: very clean
- Would we stay here again: Yes
Camping was allowed in established areas off of several forest roads. It was simple to locate Tom Springs Road off of highway 12 and find a pull off directly off this main gravel road. Better yet was to turn off into an intersecting forest road and locate a camp site in the trees.
